Bacardi Superior

Het is zeker niet aan mij om een product af te breken, en ieder commercieel product zal zeker zijn afzetmarkt hebben. Maar voor de Rum genieter blijft deze toch achter.
Voor bepaalde coctails in studentencafe's en discotheken is dit soms voldoende.
maar voor het publiek dat kwaliteit voorop stelt zijn er andere merken op de markt.

Not enough flavor for my liking, I stick to the spiced if possible

I don't mix my liquors with pop! I like my drinks "neat" and this brand just sets my pallet on edge!

Good for cocktails, thats it. I do like the bat :-) it's the best thing from the bottle.

The best mixable rum. It just goes with everything easily. Try it neat with a splash of water. Mind blown. It's the simple things.

This rum is only ment for cocktails late in the evening when You can not taste anything anyway.

I can't think of any reason i would buy another bottle of this. The limon is slightly better.

If you drink this straight something is seriously wrong. It tastes like hairspray. It's fine mixed and it is very cheap to buy. So it's price is actually quite fair. Still, for a few dollars more you can get far better white rum. My rating for straight tasting is a 3; mixed it's a 5.

Reading some of the reviews of this rum is akin to watching a elementary school kid get beat up by the entire high school football team. Is it a well-aged solera or single barrel best sipped neat from a glencarin? Of course not. Does it make a drinkable rum and coke which all of us have ordered at a bar and was probably responsible for some great nights/times with friends? Absolutely. Just pad your ratings and move on and quit taking yourselves so seriously; It's Bacardi Silver.
