Bacardi Superior Rum is the original Bacardi rum, dating back to 1862 when Don Facundo Bacardi Massó purchased his first rum distillery in Cuba. 150 years later, Bacardi Superior is now manufactured in Puerto Rico, but the recipe remains largely the same.
A unique strain of yeast discovered in the Cuban sugarcane fields is used to produce Bacardi Superior rum. The rum is filtered through charcoal, a process pioneered by Bacardi, before and after it is aged in oak barrels for at least one year.
Well, wrong. Only to mix i,but in my opinion horrible with coke, maybe some rum based cocktails can hide it's sappy taste
Perfectly fine with coke and a squeeze of lime hanging around the pool outside. Perfect for Daquri ' s too!
I mean I don't expect much from a cheap mass-produced rum but come on Bacardi, you have to cut the heads and tails off somewhere. The nail-polish remover smell make it hard to even down this one, fortunately the (lack of) taste is not as bad as the smell would make you think.
Not a totally rancid flavor... good for taking shots to drop panties at a college frat party.... not much else.
Use only as a mixer or drink straight if you are in DT's. Definitely a college mixer used only to get drunk.
Superior.... Yeah right, standard bottom shelf Rum only for mixing in drinks.
Just dont drink it straight up, rum and coke with some lemon maybe
for mixing only. Will do in a pinch. Not something I look for when i order.
Hier ben ik groot mee geworden. BaCo.
Maar niet veel bijzonders verders.
Tastes awful, had it with Pepsi, Coke, Sprite and 7-up, not one of them tasted good, and it gives you a bad hangover, but it's cheap, and it gets the job done worst comes to worst, and it's better than some other white rums.
Very harsh taste, gasoline is the first thought that goes through my mind as I drink this.
Too harsh for enjoyment. Not suitable for consumption.
This is lower than the bottom of the barrel, its as if you lifted up the barrel to see what was underneath
Very mild but good in a few drinks or food when only a mild rum taste is desired. I keep this on hand for a few cocktails that require a blend of ingrediants including light Puerto Rican rum. I've not noticed the off or foul tastes other have described but I prefer a more flavorful rum than this.
You first try this s%€t and wonder years later why you like rum now. it is not because of this
Artificial alcohol taste. I guess 90% of the budget with bacardi is spend on marketing. Definitely not on the quality lf their low end products.
A decent Rum for mixed drinks like Rum and Cokes or daiquiris. Nothing special, but will get the job done.
Didn´t like it! Maybe you can mix it with coke. Too harsh!
The standard rum-and-coke you get in clubs and venues. But it's just not a great taste.
Is because all they've ever had is Bacardi. You can make do with it on a plane when you don't have other options but for the money get something better. Too harsh and no flavor.
