Recommendable to most
This is my favorite rum to drink with cola. It is great by itself however, I love rum and coke and it is cheap enough in my state (PA) at 31.99 that I don't mind indulging myself with a bottle every so often.
For me, this is one of the best rums I have tasted. Silky smooth for sipping straight while enjoying a cigar, or pairable with just about any mixer. Bottle is a conversation piece as well
I may be a bit biased as this was the first rum that I discovered that I loved to sip. Now I compare everything against it. I can't help it. Definite Vanilla notes.
Zaya from Trinidad was first intoduced to me in a small bistro in Shreveport Louisiana. Not available most places...in fact very hard to find even in most liquor stores. This rum is the smoothest, sweetest tasting rum l have ever had the pleasure of imbibing.
This is the rum that opened my mind to rum beyond a crap rum and coke. This rum is perfect on an ice cube. Truly one of the best liquors available of any kind. Some spice and a touch of sweet.
I just can't get enough of this Rum! Smooth, flavorful, great price point, easy to find, perfect with a Cuban! What more can you hope for in a sipping Rum!?
A 10 all the way, for me.
this rum has a strong vanilla flavor. I drink it with Coke zero and it tastes just like a vanilla Coke with a little bit of spice. One of my favorite rums.
