Kanske hade önskat mer eftersmak. Lite tunn men god att sippa
One of the best rum tried. Very smooth to the palate. Sweet notes not as much as Zacapa 23. One of my favorites for sure and with affordable price for the quality.
Truly very Google to try. Surprisingly good taste and complexity. One of the must-to-try.
Smager dejligt. Lidt til den søde side. Duft er fin, alt i alt en god rom
Got this locally on sale. Figured it to be worthy for the price ($47 from $61). Well, it's definitely decent. But, after allowing it to breath it flattened right out. So, it's a FAST rum. Enjoyable at a party cause it's good but kicking back makes it lack! Letting this breath a little, it's refinement tool starts to dull. It's simply a premium rum that can go the distance but there's heavy traffic when it's a marathon. It does reminds me of the good old days when Panama Red had it's run! Same, Same! & that ain't all that bad. That's why I downgraded this.
Smooth, sweet, full flavor, great sipper, enjoy this one...
Great recommendation from this site. This is my new favourite hands down. As usual I think letting it sit in a glass for a few hours dramatically improves the flavor. I get a lot of molasses/brown sugar/maple syrup flavor after it's been breathing, sometimes 10-24 hours. A bit of heat comes at the end but not unwelcome or unpleasant.
I want to start out by congratulating Zafra Rum co. for being way ahead of the game. I feel like every new product that I am seeing coming out is Bourbon aged something (wines, Scotches, ect.) and Zafra has been ahead of the game for almost a decade. The flavors on this rum are the perfect combination of bourbon light vanillas and char mixed with the sweet sugars that we all love in rum. Leaving you with a wonderful taste that lingers in your mouth long after you finish your sip. I coworker of mine loves his bourbons, but this is by far his favorite spirit he has ever had and has opened the world of rum up to him. I would probably place this somewhere in my top 10 favorite rums ever.
Lovely harmony, perfect balance between sweetness and wood.
Smooth and rich sipping rum go great with medium body cigar
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Sehr netter Rum vom Meister Fernandez.
Very nice rum from the master Fernandez.
Beautiful golden amber in the glass.
In the nose dry fruit, caramel, some tart herbs and a little wood.
In the palate, on a smoky wooden board cut ripe tropical fruits with vanilla pudding and caramel sauce.
In the finish, beautifully supple and long-lasting, a subtle sweetness like a dark chocolate.
A very tasty rum also for beginners.
I find the Don Pancho 18yo much better in this price class. Has a more voluminous body and is much more complex.
