Peu de sucre et de la puissance. Bienvenu en Jamaïque. Profil similaire à un appleton estate, du bois un nez puissant et aromatique, des notes de vanille...jolie rhum et prix raisonnable
Tried it once and I have to say I liked the 5yo more. Nothing wrong with this one tho.
Bon rhum, mais manque de saveur, il reste très bon à déguster
Rhum de Guyane très bon en bouche.
A la fois riche et varié. Un rhum à boire plutôt en digestif. A acheter les yeux fermés.
Another great addition to the XM portfolio

This is, for me, a really enjoyable rum. Classic demerara.....plenty of vanilla and toffee.....easy drinking
Dark Demerara spice and vanilla. A workhorse rum, sip or mixed
Super great rum, sipped or mixed...
Tastes of caramel and raisins and dried fruits.
"It isn’t quite as sweet and has a little more oakiness in the profile. It leaves quite a dry aftertaste when sipped."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

A nice, pale gold color to this rum - in guessing there's no artificial coloring going on here - with a sharp, slightly floral nose of dried fruit.
The sharpness carries through in the early tasting. The sweetness here is mild and the flavor really dominated by a woodsy, baking spice sort of flavor with moderate alcohol burn. And yet - quite drinkable and reasonably smooth.
If this were priced at $20-25 on my local store shelf, I'd have no problem picking up a bottle as a mixer. It's really too one dimensional to drink straight.
