8.0/10 (1 rating) Now this is some good stuff
We don't have any information about the rums here yet.
Hidden Harbor is a contemporary take on a tiki bar, with a mostly modern decor but plenty of nods to tiki's history. The management is devout in their research regarding both history and modern hospitality; staff is friendly and competent. They offer a limited but good quality food menu, with a Caribbean influence.
Over a few years, the size of their rum list has grown rapidly. So although it is between 370 and 400 as of this writing, that amount is likely to outdated by the time you read this. It's certainly the most impressive selection of rum in Pittsburgh (the only bar I'm aware of specializing in it), so a rum fan in the area looking for a place to go is highly advised to try here. (Especially given Pennsylvania's restrictive laws on purchasing spirits.)
For locals, they have a "rum passport" called Dead Parrots Society. Working through it was my introduction to rum beyond the basics. It combines brief, thoughtful notes and a selection that emphasized geography. (There are also other promotions, mostly emphasizing tiki cocktails; check their website and social media if interested, they change.)
